general expertise and its relevance for the project
As Professor and Head of the Department of Complex Systems at Rzeszów University of Technology (RUT), my research focuses on complex systems, innovation, decision analysis, and interdisciplinary approaches to societal challenges. My work contributes to understanding how actors, processes, and technologies interact within complex environments and how these systems can become more effective and resilient.
This expertise is highly relevant to the VOICE project, which aims to improve access to care through coordinated action across healthcare, education, and social sectors. My experience in systems modelling, decision support, and secure digital solutions can support the identification of barriers and facilitators within care ecosystems and inform sustainable implementation strategies. Through international projects involving academia, industry, and public-sector stakeholders, I have developed approaches that promote collaboration, innovation, and real-world impact.
awards received / other responsibilities
As Head of the Department of Complex Systems at Rzeszów University of Technology, I contribute strategic expertise in system-level innovation relevant to access to care. My research focuses on the reliability, security, and resilience of digital systems that underpin coordinated health and care pathways, particularly in contexts where sensitive information must be shared safely across sectors. I work on the design and testing of robust digital infrastructures that support trustworthy information flows between education, healthcare, and social services, helping to ensure continuity of care and reduce barriers to access. Through applied research and proof-of-concept implementations, I aim to demonstrate solutions that are not only technically sound but also feasible within real-world public systems. Within the VOICE project, I contribute this expertise to support secure, scalable, and sustainable digital components that strengthen access-to-care pathways for young people.
